Bonnie Dunbar Travels to Tri-Cities, WA to promote Museum of Flight's efforts in bringing a space shuttle to Washington State
Retired astronaut Dr. Bonnie Dunbar traveled to the Tri-Cities on February 16 to outline the efforts of Seattle's Museum of Flight to bring one of NASA’s three retiring space shuttles to Washington state. In addition to interviewing with KNDU/KNDO-TV, KVEW/KAPP-TV, and KONA Radio, Dunbar had a chance to speak to the Pasco-Kennewick Rotary club. She was able to convey to citizens that bringing the shuttle to the Museum of Flight would benefit not just Seattle, but the entire State of Washington, including the Tri-Cities.
